Pro Bono Activity

We recognize the importance of contributing experience as attorneys on a pro bono basis to individuals and non-profit organizations that are engaged in providing service to the under-privileged, as well as to the improvement of the practice of law and the education of young attorneys and law students.

For more than 20 years Andrew Caffey has provided pro bono services to the philanthropic community in Washington DC, serving as pro bono legal counsel to the Washington Regional Association of Grantmakers since its founding in the early 1990s.  Since 2010 he has also served as a law school tournament judge and volunteer coach for the award-winning negotiation, arbitration and mediation tournament teams of the Georgetown University Law Center in Washington DC.

Charitable Contributions

For several years, Andrew Caffey and his family raised contributions among friends and clients for the Multiple Sclerosis Society, and have participated in several of the annual Chesapeake Bike Challenges riding 100 miles over the two-day events.

Sustainable Business

 

Ten years ago, Andrew Caffey transformed the law practice into a paperless enterprise, and has succeeded in radically reducing the use of paper, ink, and related supplies in favor of digital documents and digital storage.
